| My Secretary, Part 1 - The Night's Surprise |

| I love my job. Like any job it has it’s ups and downs but overall, I like what I’m doing. My name is Keith O’Neill, I’m a 30 year old Advertising and Marketing Director for a major pharmaceutical firm. It’s my job to secure advertising spots on major venues, (i.e. TV, Movies, magazines, billboards, etc.), develop and implement new advertising campaigns with my development team and find new ways to beat the competition. I have a pretty nice office on the buildings 43 floor (53 floors total) and an office for my secretary right in front of mine. My development team is a great collection of men and women and we’ve been able to come up with several key advertising and marketing campaigns. My life was pretty straightforward, if a little lonely at times. That is to say, it was pretty straightforward, up until recently. I am single and live in the city. I was married some years ago, we married right out of high school and it just didn’t work out. We, fortunately, didn’t complicate matters with children. After a year and a half, we divorced, amicably. Since then, I had dated some but really focused on my work, climbing the corporate ladder honestly and through hard work. This left little time in my life for love and relationship. Occasionally, I have the random one night stand but by and by that is not a habit or even a favorite of mine. No I fill my days with work, exercise, and a little internet gaming, if time allows. Everything was great, I know where my life was heading until a couple of weeks ago and it all started with my Secretary. “I think that staff meeting ended on a good note,” I said to my secretary as we were walking back to our offices later in the evening. The others of my team were heading to there own offices to pack up and ready for a long weekend. I, unfortunately had more work to do. “I think so,” she replied, “Do you want me to start on that memo tonight, sir?” “God no, Jenny, go home, have a good weekend,” I said glancing over at her. She was almost 5’3” with bobbed blonde hair that curled to her chin. She had green eyes that were enchanting and could pull you in to them. I found Jenny incredibly attractive but I never let that cloud my judgment or let myself get caught admiring. It wasn’t as if I was undressing her with my eyes every five minutes. I found Jenny attractive, I think because of her personality mostly. Because of that I never had to remind myself why I hired her. She was smart and great at her job. She didn’t let office distractions bother her and always got her work done on time. Like me, she had climbed up from a mailroom
