| I have always been scared of cemeteries. They make me uncomfortable. I am a grown man and far beyond believing in any kind of ghost, mummy, or zombie stories, yet, graveyards are just plain spooky. There were the times growing up that some of my friends and I would dare each other to sneak into a cemetery at night. I would take the dare as seriously as any dare to a young boy. My male-ness was at stake. Off I would go on a dead run, running faster than I was able, largely because I was scared shitless. But I always made it. And why not, there were no such things as ghosts…… I have been living alone for a while now. My girlfriend got transferred to another state about a year ago, and we have just drifted away from each other, figuratively and literally. I work. I run in the park. I hang out with friends, but for the most part, every one I know is married. I got invited to Brian and Stacy’s Halloween party, a married couple I know. This party is usually a bash. Costumes, open bar, uninhibited fun. You can really let it go and single or not, it is a party I look forward to. So I decided to go. Brian and Stacy live close, and I did not want to drive knowing I would probably drink a lot. Walking to their house, I passed the old cemetery. That same old creepy feeling washed over me. I stood briefly staring at some of the graves. This was Halloween and my mind started racing. Moon shadows cascaded across some of the headstones, and everything looked in motion. Different noises were rising and falling from the cemetery. It felt like I was being watched and I grew very cold as I stood there, in a trance. Shaking off the eerie feeling, I continued on to Brain and Stacy’s. Walking into the party was like stepping into another world. Everyone had costumes on. I could not tell if I knew anyone. Everybody was either in makeup or had a mask on. There was something strangely erotic about this. The women were wearing revealing costumes - a lot of legs and a lot of cleavage. There were witches, maids, female vampires, cat women, etc. Guys were hugging on women. Women were groping guys. The sexual energy was palpable. Nobody noticed me walking in and I just stood there for a minute trying to get oriented. I immediately went to the bar and got a strong drink. As I drank, I realized it had been a while since I had been with a woman. I was lost in my thoughts when someone said, “You look like I knew you would.” Startled, I turned to face a gorgeous gothic queen. I have always fantasized about a woman dressed in gothic style and this woman had just stepped out of that dream. Pale, silky skin, black lacey dress that showed off her stunning legs, sleeves that looped over her fingers with long black fingernails, a simple leather choker, ruby red lip stick, jet black hair pulled back tight on her head, and wild, dark black eyes. Black and blue eyeliner streaked out from the sides of her eyes, drawing my stare to the center of those penetrating, black eyes. You could also see through her lacy dress. Out of my peripheral vision, I could see, almost sense, her ample breasts and the outline of her nipples. I only imagined if I looked down to her breasts that I would have a hard time looking up again. I felt a stimulation course through me like an electric shock just looking into her eyes. But I had no idea who she was.

| So different, yet so tantilizing. I've got to say this is the first story of this nature I found myself wanting to finish. Thank you for the vividness and distraction!! (hehe guess I should TRY to get back to work).. |

| Wow. That was quite something. Hot and powerful, but also slightly saddening at the end. |

| What a lovely story! The descriptions were ethereal, and concrete enough to keep the dedicated interest in the thread of the story line. Well done! |

| Wow! That was sensational!!! Very well thought out and told!! This is definitely on my top 5 or so in Hallow's Eve stories along with Lily's writings about a werewolf!! When you manage to get that fecund imagination of yours to story on paper, and I know it is a bigger struggle than many think/know, you can be a great writer b4.
