Truth or Dare

Lily and Kitty met online a couple of years ago at an erotic site. Over the weeks and months they discovered several things in common as well as greatly enjoying each others’ company. Naturally, both women had careers, leading to their most significant commonality; homes and families would always come first. The both lived in the same, large metropolitan area so decided to take advantage of their proximity by meeting to see if their friendship could grow.

They made arrangements to meet for lunch on a Saturday for their initial face to face encounter. Lily was the first to arrive in the crowded restaurant, but there wasn’t a head in the place that didn’t turn at her entrance. Her regal bearing, taut figure [assiduously maintained], and all 5’7” of her sleek curvy figure was lit by auburn hair, emerald green eyes and angel-kissed skin. As she sat waiting for Kitty, she couldn’t help but smile at so many of their past conversations and how they had instantly bonded. That sort of thing doesn’t happen every day, Lily thought to herself.

And then before her was Kitty’s 5’2”, voluptuous frame backlit by the sun. Immediately her tinkling, infectious laugh as she greeted Lily set Kitty apart. Her perfectly proportioned, tiny frame belied her love of the cuisine of her native Italy. But her smoldering brown eyes, long raven hair and mellow golden skin all worked in harmony and were a startling counterpoint to Lily.

Their joy in finally meeting one another was clearly reflected in words being spoken over, giggles, tears, hugs and several glasses of wine. If anything, their kinship before was a pale ghost of what they knew would now be a lifelong sharing of their lives, families, sorrows and blessings. They quickly determined that it was essential to introduce their husbands to one another, hoping against hope that the men would like each other and, overtime all four could become the best of friends. The girls quickly made plans to get the foursome together over the next few weeks to begin to cement new relationships all around.

Just as with the girls, the men were a counterpoint to each other. Lily’s David was 6’, 195 pounds, fit with a rugged outdoors look accented by the graying hair at the temples of his dark hair Lily enjoyed the second glances her man received when he entered the room.

Manny, Kitty’s husband had a more traditional Italian build, 5’8” and 180 pounds. He lifted weights, not exaggeratedly so, but his physique did accentuate the several graphic tattoos he had acquired in the service. What did the women in were his killer smile and the way he had of raking his longish black hair away from his eyes.

All in all the couples were striking and had quite an effect when they were together. As it turned out David and Manny had a mutual fondness for 9 Ball and began playing pool together at various tournaments and in leagues around the city.

The Christmas and New Years Holidays had just come and gone and Lily and Kitty had not been able to keep in touch as they normally did. The guys planned a get together for a Friday night so the women decided to have a ladies night in to catch up. Kitty and Manny arrived at Lily and David’s home early in the evening and the guys, after quick hellos and goodbyes, left for the pool tournament.

The girls turned from the entrance way, heels tapping on the wooden floor and sat opposite each other on the leather couch.

“I have always loved the feeling of the leather on this couch,” remarked Kitty.

As Lily poured them each a glass of wine, she replied, “It does feel sexy doesn’t it?”

They both wriggled deeper into the cushions to enjoy the feel of leather against their bare skin. And soon began to catch up on the happenings in each family, jobs and life in general. The wine flowed and soon they were laughing and giggling at the other’s silly jokes, enjoying themselves. Finally the conversation began to slow and they each sat smiling quietly at each other reflecting the joy of their friendship.

Hopping up from the sofa, Lily said, “I’ve got just the thing! Let’s play Truth or Dare!”

“Oh my gosh, I haven’t played that since college, Lily! But I’m up for it.”
