| I had run into Mike at my high school reunion. He and I talked for what seemed like hours, trying to catch up on all that had happened to us. He told me he was having a few friends over for a Halloween party at his place in Illinois. He gave me directions and said, "We would love to see you there." That was about 2 weeks ago. These have been 2 of the strangest weeks I have ever lived through. Let me take you back about 2 weeks and tell you my tale. I live in Hobart, Indiana, a small town not far from Gary. I had decided to take Mike up on his offer, had even decided to keep it a surprise. As it turns out I am the one who got the surprise. I left home fairly early on old hallows eve. I was not much in a hurry as I knew I had plenty of time to get there. So I decided to take the scenic route. I took 37th ave until it became Ridge road and carried me into Lansing, Illinois. I picked up I80 from there. I was just cruising along thinking about how long it had been since I got to hang out with Mike. Thoughts of the past started playing through my head. I kind of lost track of time and then I noticed a sign that said Tinley Park 5 miles. The sun had already set and only the faint orange glow of its rays could still be seen. I turned off of 80 and onto Harlem ave. That is when things took a wrong turn for me. Darkness had stolen my sight so I turned on my headlights and checked my gages. Every thing looked good, temp – cool as a cucumber, fuel – half a tank, oil pressure looked good, so I saw no reason to slow down. I was driving along when I saw a figure on the side of the road. From what I could see this was a very beautiful young woman standing under a street light. As my headlights reached her it seemed as if she began to glow. Her long blond hair blew in the breeze and her clothes looked like something out of the mid 60's. The dress she wore was loose fitting and yet quite flattering. She could not have been a day over 19. I brought my little Intrepid to a stop and asked her if she was waiting for someone. Perhaps her parents were on the way to pick her up after a party. "Well actually I do need a ride home, but nobody is coming to get me." She replied. "I would be happy to give you a lift home if you need one; how far from here do you live?" I asked

| Seker I bet you would love to have me say something nice about this story you have given us. Well, my friend from the south, you would be right. Good story with a nice build-up. I liked all the little details like the moon light and the discussion about vintage cars. So on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being Erica Jong...I give you a rousing 4.0 |

| Very nice start to our Halloween tales! The story flows and kept my attention. The sex was pretty damn hot too! Who wouldn't want to be taken by a ghost?? Do you have to respect them in the morning? |

| Seker, this was one of your best buddy! That ending was so ambiguous until he read the tombstone. I thought the other possibility might have been that she draw some of his blood to bring her back to life but it ended up as you said, "Le petit mort." Really a treat to read.
