| Instead of giving me an answer she jumped into the car and thanked me for the ride. I started rolling again but could not seem to keep my eyes on the road. She was very beautiful and there was something about those pale blue eyes that held me in a trance. She almost seemed to glow; her skin was so young and soft looking. As I approached W 151st st., she told me to take the next right. "It is a short cut to my place." The next right was 143rd st. As we started down the old dirt road there my car died. I tried to start it but it refused to turn over. I looked down at the instrument panel and my gas gauge was on E. That can't be right, I just checked it a few min ago. "I swear to all that is holy miss, I did not mean for this to happen." "Please call me Helen, Helen McKee." She said as she held out her hand. I shook it and tried to figure out what to do next. I got out of the car and walked around to the trunk to get my gas can when something struck my eye. The moon was playing off of an old gate. I read the sign above it. "Bachelors Grove Cemetery" it read. "Perfect. Just perfect. I run out of gas, I don't know how I am going to get you home Helen and I am going to be late for Mike's party. And if that is not the best of it, the damn car died in front of a cemetery on Halloween." I was furious. Helen said, "Why don't we can just sit here and get to know each other better. I don't have to worry about being home, as long as it's before dawn." And she started to laugh. It was a beautiful laugh, yet there was something missing. It was almost hollow. Sure enough, we sat on the hood of my car and talked. I told her all about my childhood and she told me some funny stories from hers. She was an only child and lived at home with her parents until she turned 18. We had something in common that I had never expected old cars. She said "I used to have a 65 Ford Shelby GT 350, it was a beautiful car, white with dual blue racing stripes from nose to tail. I loved that car. But one rainy night after a fight with my boyfriend, I ended up losing control of it and ran into a ditch. The car was un-repairable." "Well it's getting kind of late, I saw a gas station a few miles back. If I get started now I might be back in time to get you home before midnight." I said Helen leaned across the hood and whispered in my ear. "I don't want you to go. I want you to stay right here with me." And began to kiss my ear and neck. I would love to be able to tell you that I did the honorable thing and went to get the gas. But that is not what happened.

| Seker I bet you would love to have me say something nice about this story you have given us. Well, my friend from the south, you would be right. Good story with a nice build-up. I liked all the little details like the moon light and the discussion about vintage cars. So on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being Erica Jong...I give you a rousing 4.0 |

| Very nice start to our Halloween tales! The story flows and kept my attention. The sex was pretty damn hot too! Who wouldn't want to be taken by a ghost?? Do you have to respect them in the morning? |

| Seker, this was one of your best buddy! That ending was so ambiguous until he read the tombstone. I thought the other possibility might have been that she draw some of his blood to bring her back to life but it ended up as you said, "Le petit mort." Really a treat to read.
