The Magic Shirt

I live ‘mongst cotton, and flannel snug,

And wool doth not the itch provide—

My hands reach out to give my hug,

So deep within, where I reside.

We guide each other as we move.

I share my smiles, my reverie—

You talk to me throughout your day.

When evening falls and yawns come fast,

The sky grows dark and winds go still,
