| What Does It Mean? |

| I once had a friend who asked, "What does making love mean?" I have pondered this question in my heart and mind for many a year and I do believe there is an answer but it is something that comes from one heart to another and means something different to each and every heart involved. But my belief in the matter is such: Making love is a mix of two simple words really, nothing more than that, but as far as a meaning my opinion is a touch, a look, something one lover does for another. But it’s not just a simple feeling. Loving someone is much deeper than sex or even an attraction at face value. To truly "LOVE" someone means your heart, mind, body and soul is never again your own. Meaning the only voice that makes a person melt is theirs. The only touch that makes one tremble is the touch of their tender hand, whether it be a hug to holding them deeply in their arms, to even while walking keeping a hand on you. Your mind is surrounded and knows only of them. No one else turns your head, you never give a thought to another. You are content, safe and full with the knowledge that, that person is yours and yours alone. Your body shakes and trembles for any unapparent reason when you think of them, they touch you or are around the other. You crave their touch, your skin heats up, eyes are filled with the sight of only them. You cry for them when they’re gone, you can’t sleep, can’t function, one is lost without the other. On the other side of the spectrum there was once a question asked, "How do you know you’re truly in love?" I by no means am smart in these ways, I have only been in true love but once, and am really the wrong person to ask this question, but I do believe I can give some kind of answer: Your heart breaks at the thought of ever losing this person, your tortured thoughts soon become a twisted feeling deep in your soul. Every time you see them, especially if you loose them or never really had them you want to scream at them how you feel and can only hope they listen or agree. But if you have them, I wish you the love unlike that you’ve ever known, don’t ever let it go for you’ll NEVER find that love again. You only love once in a lifetime, you might think you love someone, hell even spend years believing it and forcing yourself to believe it even if your heart has broken long ago because your one true love has gotten away, or never was truly there to begin with but don’t give up, I do believe love exists, but not for me. You ask me why and I say, "I am one of those that didn’t fight for what I wanted, I was too scared to believe someone would want me the way I wanted them." I bid all the best of lucks and hope you and yours have a love that will move through the ages. And be so much more to you than others have found and lost. | ||||||
