| A Snowstorm in Baltimore |

| It was December and the weather changed suddenly in downtown Baltimore. Heavy snow could be seen drifting past the twenty-second floor window where Dotty and Richard shared an office. Richard held the position of Assistant Manager of Real Estate in a large oil company and Dotty was the Manager’s Secretary. The two shared some difficult experiences at the office, and as a result, over the past three years, had grown to become good friends. Dotty helped Richard through a painful and heart wrenching divorce after a marriage which lasted only one year. Sitting in a coffee shop with her after work, he was emotionally devastated, and told her in tearful words that his wife said she was not ready for marriage and wanted a divorce. Dotty’s heart truly ached for his pain, and at that moment she began a long emotional trip, helping him through the next several months, hearing his pain, comforting his sorrow, and being his best friend. She also remembered the first smile she saw from him, after two months of tears and silence, and it was she who made him smile. Almost a year later, he made a stand for her against a company executive. Dotty was in her late twenties, tall, and attractive, with shining dark brown hair and deep brown eyes. Blessed with smooth flawless skin and natural beauty, she needed little makeup. Her long sexy legs, tight shapely rear, and full, enticing, well rounded breasts made her an object of men’s fantasies and, unfortunately for her, erotic discussion among a few. One day at work she was fondled by one of the higher executives of the Company. Late in the afternoon, in front of two other men who were amused by his antics, a man in his seventies wrapped his arms around her, pinning her own arms to her sides, and pulled her rear end tightly to his crotch, feeling her breasts for several seconds. The three men had been speculating among themselves about the authenticity of her breasts, and as the man held her he assured them they were real. The times were different then, and women had little recourse for inappropriate actions by influential men. Humiliated and sobbing, she told Richard she planned to resign the next morning. On his own, Richard first marched into the man’s office, telling him he was a lecherous old fool, and if he had nothing better to do with his time, he should retire. Next he walked into the President’s office in anger. Putting his own job on the line, he explained the incident, demanding and getting strong and swift action. News of it never leaked beyond those involved, but was resolved very much to her satisfaction. It was not until she was summoned to the President’s office for a personal apology that she found out what Richard had done. She let him know her sincere appreciation, while her silent admiration for him expanded. Their friendship grew even stronger. Soon after that incident, to save parking garage expenses, they began to carpool to work together. The arrangement worked well. They engaged in long and interesting discussions on a wide variety of subjects during the 45 minute rides to and from work and each grew to respect the opinions and intelligence of the other. Having grown to trust each other completely, they knew they could be very candid in their private talks. Dotty once admitted she had never had an orgasm, faking them her entire marriage. In another quite explicit talk, she divulged, she had seen oral sex a few times in X-rated movies, and could only hope she knew what to do.

| Outstanding! cocoa, you have surpassed yourself here. Exciting, nervous, then fiery, erotic and surprising, then romantic and beautiful. You have a gift for writing real, complete people and characters that the reader could truly fall in love with. This is brilliant, well done.

| I could not agree more with what others have said before me Cocoa: This is a beautifully constructed and very sensitive piece. GnN described it well! You had to love Dotty and what her life was becoming and how she came to embrace it. Of all your stories, this one is not only my favorite but I think that feeling is based on the merits of the writing itself, not a personal opinion. I am sure I will be reading this again ands again!! Thank you for your generosity/magnanimity in sharing your wealth of talent with us.
