A Very Special Holiday

She pressed a fat chunky carrot into the space between, for his nose, and broke off a piece of orange-scented, concolor fir branch, from the nearby tree, to give him a curvy warm smile. Taking off her blue scarf, she wrapped it around the snowman, tying it to give him a stylish flair.


She brushed all the snow off the top of her snowman box, and removed the special hat she always used for a topper. She cocked it jauntily upon his head and stood back to look at her new creation. Wow, that looks so perfect, her mind imagined, wondering how lovely it would be to skate around on the frozen pond with her new snowman companion. Arm in arm they would circle around on their skates, listening to the songbirds, as the winter breeze rosied-up their cheeks. Arms! That’s what he was missing! Melissa reached over to the fir, and broke off two more branches with needles on the ends, that would give her frozen fellow what he needed to balance himself while he skated. There! Now you’re much better, Melissa concluded, and I’ll name you, uhmmm, Charlie. Perfect, she thought.


The thoughts of a handsome fellow holding her tightly while skating, had started Melissa’s imagination flowing, and she smiled at Charlie, winking her eye back at him, as she walked into her cottage. She threw off her hat and jacket, tossing them, with her wet gloves and boots, onto the window seat. She sat herself down on the rug near her living room fireplace, which still glowed red from the wood she had burned earlier that morning. Pulling off her pants, and lifting her top up over her head, she covered her pert breasts with her icy cold hands, circling her nipples slowly around. With her eyes closed, Melissa laid down, imagining how excited she would feel, if the man she had skated with, would have come back to the cottage with her, and had begun rubbing her breasts with his cold fingertips. Her nipples hardened with her thoughts. She let her mind drift, following the pair of hands with her imagination, as she worked them down over the smooth skin of her stomach. She felt her back arch, as her fingers found her silken, trimmed mound – tiny circles beginning to evoke feelings within her that only her fantasy man could know about. She felt his hands part her labia, coaxing out the first drops of moisture, as his lips touched hers. He kissed her, then, with all the intensity of her perfect man, tasting her mouth, sampling her passion. She kissed him back, her tongue parting his lips just a little, searching out his desire, asking for his love. She felt her passions building within her, as she closed her eyes and the waves of pleasure coursed over her body, causing her to tremble. Drawing in a breath and opening her eyes, she stared at the ceiling and sighed. If only he were real, she thought.


Melissa got up, dressed and went into the kitchen to prepare her dinner. Night was falling fast, and already the twinkling of the evening’s starlight was daring to greet her through the window over the sink. The moon was three-quarters full, and was crowding out what was left of the dusky sunset.


Melissa threw a steak into a frying pan and watched as the red meat sizzled on the heated surface, little wet droplets dancing around in defiance of the fire.
