| The early Sunday spring sun wakes me, its morning rays warming my body. Only one thing for it, I think, as I drift into consciousness - a bike ride. Getting up and looking out of the window, a bit of early morning mist hangs over the ground; it’s a perfect day for a ride. As ever my cats are waiting at the kitchen door demanding to be fed, as only cats can. I don’t even get a chance to switch the kettle on before they are entangled round my feet. Once the feline hunger is satisfied, I have two cups of tea and a bowl of cereal. Climbing into my leathers, I watch my bike warm up. I pull on my helmet and gloves, swing my leg over the bike, select a gear, feed the clutch out, and I'm away. Being early morning, it’s quiet outside of the hum of the bike. I ache to get away from the limits of the city streets. It amuses me to see the occasional man and woman walking along the pavement, still wearing the same clothes they went out in Saturday night, most likely having stayed somewhere they maybe shouldn’t have and engaged in a wild night of promiscuous sex. I admire the way a blond, curvy girl walks along in her little black dress, her hair a little tousled, and it makes my balls tingle with desire. Slowing down as I pass her I look in my mirror, watching her breasts bounce slightly as they move with her walk. Her jacket and handbag draped over one arm, she wears a wide smile. I very nearly miss the red traffic light in front of me. Having stopped, the girl has now caught up with me. As she comes level with me, I lift my visor up and say, “Good morning,” give her my best smile, and hope that my eyes twinkle at her. I expect her to ignore me anyway, but for some reason she doesn’t and, to my utter amazement, smiles back at me and blows me a kiss. She then turns onto a street and away from my view. A car behind me pipps his horn, alerting me to the fact the lights have turned green, snapping me out of the daydream I was in. Pulling away from the lights, I look down the street where she has walked, longing to see her, but to no avail. All I can see now is a row of houses, and a man walking his dog, farther up the street. The open road is in front of me now, as I speed along. This is it what it’s about, the freedom, in my own little world, just me and my thoughts. The English countryside unfurls before my eyes - the rolling green hills, dry stone walls, sheep and cattle grazing in lush green fields. Lambs jump in the fields, their mothers more concerned with the grass they are eating. Again I am jolted out of the self-induced trance. Three bikes fly past me, although I am doing 80mph. Unable to resist, I speed after them and manage to catch them after about 11 miles. I notice that all three riders have long hair flowing out from under their helmets and assume, at this stage, they are all girls. I follow their pace for another 6 miles, until my petrol light starts blinking at me. I slow down to conserve energy, knowing that there is a petrol station nearby. The 3 riders in front of me slow down as well. I give them the thumbs up to show that I am ok; with this they roar off and away from my sight. After filling my Honda up, I decide to follow the same direction as the other bikes. I know there is a café about 7 miles up the road. A cup of tea and maybe a bacon sandwich would be quite welcome after this spirited ride. After about 3 miles, I see a bike parked up on its stand, the rider knelt down beside it. As I pull up behind, the rider stands. She seems somewhat familiar, and I recognize her bike as being one of the three that came across me earlier.

| Those bike scenes really brought back memories but I never found an angel like that on the open road. :-( It really was a charm and had lots of nice little surprises that turned up the heat. Nice piece of work.
