| There was a red envelope there. Laying on the table among the blue, orange and pink envelopes was a red one. I was surprised and shocked. This was the first time a red envelope had ever appeared. I glanced at Helen but her eyes avoided mine. "There's a red one there," I said. "Yes," she said softly. It was the last Friday of the month and as had become our custom we met with our envelopes. It was Helen's turn this month. Her turn to require a sexual task of me and it was my turn to choose the envelope and perform whatever was requested. We had got the idea a few months previously from an article in one of Helen's magazines. The article was about spicing up your love life and the writer had come up with this brilliant idea of a way to spice things up in the bedroom. Not that we really needed to spice things up. We were both in our late twenties and had only been married for five years. Sex was good, but the idea excited us. Basically the idea was that each partner would put into writing a sexual desire or a fantasy that they wished to explore with the other. The desire or fantasy would be graded into four types and would be placed into four different coloured envelopes, blue, orange, pink and red. For example if you wanted to watch your partner masturbate you would put that request into a blue envelope. Or say you wanted them to perform a striptease, that would go into the orange one. Something risky like sex outdoors would go into the pink one and of course the ultimate fantasy, say a threesome, would be a red envelope one. The rules were quite simple. Each partner would take it in turn to write out what they wanted and present the envelopes for the other to select and then fulfill. Some things could be performed on the night and others might take some organisation for a later date. The rules were also quite strict. Once you selected the envelope you had to perform the task requested. There could be no backing down once you had opened the envelope. That was why the colour grading was so important- you knew that the hotter the colour the hotter the task you had to undertake. The writer had warned however that couples should be very careful with their requests. "Before you put pen to paper think about your partner and their feelings. Ask yourself, 'Can my partner take what I am about to request?' and more importantly, can you both live with it afterwards, especially if it involves other people!" Helen and I eagerly embraced the game. From mutual masturbation to nude massages, and from light spanking to sex outdoors we both looked forward to our last Friday of the month. Tonight was different though...there was a red envelope there. "Does this involve someone else?" I asked her as I picked up the four envelopes. "You will have to open it to find out," she responded. "It is thicker than the others," I commented. "Yes" was her response. My mind drifted back to last month. Helen had chosen my pink one. "Sex outside!" she said. "No way!" "You know the rules," I told her. It was nearly a fortnight later when the weather was fine that we put together a picnic hamper and taking a blanket along as well, walked into the woods close by our home. Helen wore a yellow tennis dress with matching bra and panties. Her long blond hair shone in the bright sunlight and the scent of her perfume filled my nostrils. As we walked along I occasionally slipped my hand under her skirt and stroked her bottom. The soft cotton material was warm to the touch and from time to time I slipped my hand inside to stroke her naked flesh.
