| Inspired Author | Anal sex can be enjoyble if done right and wth a willing partner. The best advice is for great communication. If it's your first time either givng or receiving you need to find out as much info as possible to make it an enjoyable experience. For safest sex you should always use a condom for anal sex and it also helps keep the penis clean as well. Use lots of lube. Our anal area is not naturally lubricated. Take it slow. Don't ram it into your partner. Just because they do it in movies doesn't mean that you should do it that way the first time. Given time and lots of patience and practice you may get to that point but for now just take it slow. If you are receiving than it's up to you how fast or slow you would like to take it. Usually foreplay prior to anal is a good way to get warmed up. You can push back gently onto your partners penis or toy and insert it the way you want to. The anal cavity contains bacteria so once anal play is done you should discard the condom or if no condom, then you should wash with an antibacterial soap before entering the vagina. Keep in mind...just because it looks clean doesn't mean it really is. Now for positions: Spoon - One partner spoons the other and anal penetration and vaginal can be done this way. It's a gentle position for anal sex and the receiving partner has access to either vagina or penis, if partner is male. Doggy - One partner is on their knee's while another enters from behind. The receiving partner again should be in charge as to how fast they are penetrated. Missioary - One partner lies on their back while the other enters their anal area. A pillow under the hips does well. So there you have it. One more thing you should know. Just because you use a condom does not mean you cannot risk getting infected with the HIV virus. Before engaging in any sex with a new parner you should talk about your past and if you are concerned both partners should be tested for HIV and any other std's you may be concerned about. Remember symptoms may not show up for years and may present themselves in different symptoms in women. Women may have recurrentl yeast infections as well as other symptoms. You can't tell if someone has the virus just by looking at them so play safe and have fun.
