| Moderator | I wouldn't worry too much, Fred . . . . . . It will just give your ladies a bit more time to play with you and have some of their own brand of 'personal' fun. Perhaps they will even look upon it as a challenge, making it all that much more pleasurable for you, as well as for them. So lay back and enjoy the interlude. Remember, half the fun is in 'getting there' !!

Gender: Male | Well its has been a while since I have been able to check in and see how you all are doing. It looks like I am just in time as a matter of fact. HornyFred I hope that my explanation will help you in this matter. During ejaculation from intercourse the male body releases not only sperm but a mixture of hormones and brain chemicals. These chemicals include norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, nitric oxide and the hormone prolactin. The release of these chemicals is a lot larger during intercourse than during masturbation. If memory serves me correctly, the prolactin and the oxytocin being released inhibits the ability to quickly recover from orgasm and regain erection. The average male between the ages of 25 and 40 takes an average of 18 minutes to recover erection. Over the age of 40 can take longer. I read a study once that there are chemicals out there that are over the counter medication that can alter those time frames. No need for Viagra, with said chemicals the levels of oxytocin and prolactin are regulated and erection recovery time is cut in half. That would cause the average male to only take 9 1/2 minutes to recover. The only problem is I can not remember where I read the study or what the name of the product is. Personally I would ask my personal physician about this and see if there is anything that he has read or heard of. Some herbal remedies may also help, experimentation is key. Also just as a side note. This release of chemicals is also what causes men to often become sleepy after sex. Many woman have told me that they have begun to directly link sex with snoring. The reason behind not getting sleepy after masturbation is because the release of chemicals is much smaller. I am sorry I could not be more forthcoming with information but I do hope that I was able to explain the reason for the problem, if not the solution itself.
