Is it cheating?

I am just taking a poll. If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend (you decide), or a spouse you are married to, is it considered cheating to have phone sex and/or cyber sex with someone else?
(Bonus question: would you do it while your spouse watched you?) *evil chuckle*

Well I'm not sure how to feel about this one I mean when I was single it wasn't an issue , but even then there was only one person I had "phone sex" with and he is still the only one . And I'm sure if my husband knew he would not be happy , and yes on some level I do believe it's cheating ( not in the same way it would be if that person were in the same room with you ) but it is still a form of cheating ....

Now when it comes to cybering again I've only done this a few special people and to me I don't really consider this cheating , although if my husband knew about one of these people I think he might ........... hmmmm well thats my take on it anyway

I don't think that phone or cyber sex is cheating whether the spouse or significant other is aware or not. I know that I love my wife and that will not change regardless of any contacts I have in life near or far away. I also know that life has many challenges and that we will meet others in our life that means more to us than a casual friend. They will find that special place in our heart and reside there. We will think of them, talk to them and visit with them when we can. They will know what the restrictions are in our relationship and be comfortable with it. I will be comfortable with those same retrictions in their life.

My wifes view on this is quite different than mine. She knows that I visit this site but will have nothing to do with erotica or erotic sites. That is her belief and I respect that.

To each their own because when it comes down to it we have to live with ourselves and our own beliefs.

Personally I am married to a wonderful woman I adore, however due to circumstances we do not have an active physical side to our marriage. As for cyber or phone sex I have a problem with both. I cannot understand the interest in phone sex. I tried it once and never did figure out where my willie was suppose to go and slapping it with the receiver was just plain painful. As for cyber sex, personally I cannot get on top of my laptop without a risk of breaking it , even if there are lost of little holes to try.

Seriously though I have engaged in cybersex and find it to be quite interesting. I never know if my partner is actually getting off or not, but the image is enough for me.
