| Vintage Author | Dear Kitty, I am not sure if you are aware - however, recently, I have discovered an inner passion for train spotting [thanks CB!!]. It gives me a very good opportunity to learn about the transit system and people movement [migration, too, if you so wish to call it] and it is a wonderful feeling to watch the trains go by and write in your little notebook the hours, minutes and seconds each event occurs, day or night, sunny or rainy - no matter. It has, of course, lots of satisfaction to see that chief locomotive engineer Gustav is always on time and to recognize his colleague Johann from miles away - because his time fluctuates by 2-3 minutes - plus or minus. Now, I won't bore you further with this and I will jump straight into the reason why I am posting this: Every time I experience a train-by [that is, a train goes closer by me, it's lingo between us, the trainspotters] - I can't help but experience a hard-on. Instantly!! And - I also noticed that it mostly happens when non-electric trains are passing by - the electric ones are more like a nice vibration and such but not the same effect. Needless to say, I have to turn around and therefor I miss a lot of my train spotting experience. I mean, I don't want to cause any feelings amongst the occupants of a well-established train route and still, I cannot help it. What should I do?? Focus more on electric-powered trains or.. buy larger anoraks or.. please tell me! It's been quite annoying lately and the up-coming left-handed Aug celebration only makes me think - umm - nevermind!! Awaiting your expert advice, MSounds

Good Morning, MS!! Alright, you want some advice on this tiny problem you have when trainspotting. Oops, did I say tiny?? Sorry, I meant small, or errrrr....how about just "problem", that you have while trainspotting. I would suggest that maybe you SHOULD concentrate on electric-powered trains, but only when it is crowded. Of course, if I were there I would wnat to see this problem you have. I would have to examine it from all angles to let you know precisely what you should do. Now, you could invest in larger anoraks, but during the summer, doesn't that get just a tad bit warm, hun? Of course, if it were large enough, you could have a special friend join you and use their mouth, or other body parts to make it go away. And, that would fit in perfectly with the August left-handed anal celebration!!! and, instead of turning around, why not give a show for all to see?? I know I would enjoy a show like that!! Hope this helps you with your dilemma!! xxx, Kitty

I'd say - at this point - kind of.. above average, to paraphrase someone else familiar with trains. Yes, it's an above average problem and it keeps popping up! [pun intended]. Quote:
You see, the hidden area I have for spotting electric trains tends to catch them at very high speed - which in turns - tends to create quite a powerful turbulence around the track - which in turns, well, would mean that if you wear a dress or a skirt - umm - no one else would notice my problem, ever! Now that I mentioned that - maybe that is the solution actually! *smile* So - we can go spot even regular trains - but you MUST wear a dress and skirt and.. well - I can have as much of a problem as possible - no one will ever see it! Or - maybe I can advise you of the train stations closest to my observation post and bring you a chair to enjoy the.. natural events! [yes, you will need a chair as the energy present is usually.. very high - even without electric locomotives!] Quote:

| Administrator | Oh my! I just can't help myself here. Happens to me a lot. But.. above average MS? I have done a bit of research on this subject and I don't really think this reaction you are having is ABOVE average umm.. NOT at all. People always seem to exaggerate (ha) especially um..about... small or unusual things. I would have to say that it is indeed VERY unusual and quite interesting to some - I'm not sure if I am one of those yet and although a little education never hurt anyone... some of us are just use to the usual appearance of things. As for Kitty in a skirt... the wind from the train blowing it up... I say we'll all be there for that one. And MS.. you are right... most of us will be oblivious of your situation... well a couple of the engine conductors might have an eye on it but in that line of hobbies.. I'm sure you were expecting if not wanting this from the beginning. Come to think of it... you seem awfully eager to please CB with this new hobby. Hmm... I'll just leave it at that. I really like the guy.. have even .. well.. thought of him while I sleep... hell.. even when I wasn't sleeping. Oh.. I better not get on that tangent. Anyway... the world has enough exaggeration in it... try to be a bit more ... in touch with reality MS. Your problem seems quite odd... but I'm sure there is a trainspotting group of men that could help you out - eagerly. (they probably exaggerate too - just fair warning) Hugs, Lily

Better rush myself to those spam emails I deleted!! Quote:
[hmm - JP's stories come to mind now.. hmmm - let me clear my head a little] Quote:
I thought the fact that some trains are stopping - reverse - rolling slowly - reverse - rolling slower.. slower.. stop - steam.. out.. out - then slowly running.. then full speed again - well - will pass unnoticed.. to some - but! Hmm - we'll see! Quote:
Well - I try. Hard! *smile* Quote:
[don't be surprised if this research will occupy me for some time though - I enjoy being very.. thorough - hmm - in pretty much anything I do!] Here, MSounds
