how do you think Farve going to my Jets will work out for me....alot of celebrations on Sunday this coming fall/winter?

I have to add my 2 cents here - but wouldn't it just beat all if Brett managed to take the jets to the superbowl?! I truly admire Brett Favres abilities - hes one hell of a quarterback.....I just think that no matter how amazing Brett is - that he'll help the JETS all that much!

Well, BDA, I think that Brett made a mistake when he decided to nopt retire. This is like the movie Soap Dish, when Sally Field was having a small celbrity crisis...she felt like no one liked her anymore. So, she went to the mall and hid behind sunglasses and then, she took them off and her assistant, Whoopi Goldberg, shouted...omg that is .....and then everyone wanted her autograph, and they loved her and she got her ego boost. That is what I think Brett Favres tried to do, but it bit him in the ass, because Green Bay moved on. He kept saying that he was retiring and had the papers drawn up. And, then he expected them to just take him back with open arms?? Come on! They did offer him 20 million to stay retired, if I can believe what I was told, and he said no, so they cut him loose and traded him to the Jets.

Now, as to whether he can do anything for the Jets....well, I say he has a 50/50 chance of that. He is kind of getting on in years for a football player, and he has been injured a bit more in the past few years. I think that for him to do ANYTHING for the Jets he will have to be a golden boy, and I do not think that he is a golden boy anymore. I am sure that the first time he screws anything up, you Jet fans are going to want his head on a platter, unless he gets traded to the Buccaneers like he tried to do in the first place. But, I think that the Buccs told him to go take a flying leap with the amount of money that he probably wants. So........I think that he may just end his career in NY.
