Hi everyone!

Wanted to let my friend's know..One of the poems I've posted on here, "And Yet I Wait" Just made national status. It's been chosen to be read at a Poetry Symposium in Washington D.C. in May for the continued efforts to bring our troops HOME.

I wrote this poem shortly after a friend of mine who was in Iraq went missing along with his entire company. Needless to say, when they found him and them 12 days LATER, they all were found dead.

My friend left behind a new wife and newly born twin girls three months old now, not enough can be said or done to bring our boys home. But I know that this time of the year especially the holiday season it's on the fore front of a lot of our minds.

Pray for our troops, and till all the flags have flown..Happy Holidays everyone on Mindspired and to my closest of friends on here...kisses and warm love to all...
