March 3, 2007. That is when I walked into the door of the rather fresh and new Mindspired. We had less than a 1000 members and everyone was so excited with hopes and expections for this new venture into adult erotica. I came here from another site that most, if not all the founders belonged to via an invitation. I guess it was curosity more then anything else which brought me here.

I read a few entries and stories and started posting a few responses and later stories. The first were stories I had written when I first ventured into erotic writing, and I really did not see where they were all that good. Later I found myself writing just for here, new stories, more detail, more depth. I also found I have a hard time writing anything that would be considered a quick read.

I also found support for my writing, a team of people who cared more about structure than content. People who wanted the best a wriiter could write, and they helped me to become better at what I was doing.

I thought about the motives of what I was writing and the dynamics, sex became less important than reasons, and with that I found the sex also became better in my stories. I have read many great pieces while here and often chastise myself for the mistakes I make, either great or small.

I have also found friends, while only on line they are friends never the less. I have grown in some ways and learned to enjoy the light banter on the chat room. I have even played a few times, althought I still find myself havingto deal with the mental aftermath later. I enjoy coming here and chatting, reading and responding to the many posts which catch my eye or my fancy.

So having said this I would like to say Thank you to you all for a most interesting past 9 months. Thank you for your support in my writing and your friendships. I look foward to the next year and what it may bring.

It is also very dear to us that you appreciate the hard work we've put into this site in order for people (except for MS - who I'm quite certain is alien of some nature) like us to have a wonderful place to enjoy a section of life.
