Sometimes, when my mood is deep, and often that is when I am sad for someone, I start thinking of a song and it's mood captures mine. Oh there are songs for all moods I guess, but this one hit me today and it's beauty I can't get out of my head. It is about the hopefulness of a girl in love. It is by the "Shirelles." I adore the words:

The song was popular around the time of the Kennedy tragedy and it always carries a note of sadness for those of us who lived through that tragic moment. Yes, 9-11 got us angry, and determined. But the day of President Kennedy's assassination broke our hearts. We all cried.
