Question

Today at the office, several questions were posed to me. This one I thought was rather interesting.

The question was:

What is a guy to think about himself, If he has pocket full of money and turned down by a hooker. While standing in the middle of hooker row waving his money around pleading for some attention.


Confused and bewildered I thought I would ask the collective.

Thoughts.....comments.....prayers ?

I guess there are quite a few possible scenarios to this..:


1. The guy is an ass - or.. maybe did something to appear as an ass and thus - yes - disturb even a hooker! [or more]

2. Related to 1. - maybe the guy is _known_ to the hookers and his behavior is questionable.. behind closed [or open] doors.. or known to one of them at least - and that's enough for all of them to be signaled and stay away.

3. Something that he has or shows - makes the hooker[s] feel unsafe.. or unsure of this guy [STDs? Maniac blinking in his eyes.. ? Blood drops on his sleeves? The list can go on and on..]

4. TOO much flashing of money or.. too much of everything trying to show-off - well - might be another sign of 'stay away'. Don't forget.. hookers are - by definition and their field of work.. - QUITE GOOD judgement of characters.. [they have to be] - and.. if they feel threatened - no matter how much money you show - won't help.

5. He drives a PT Cruiser*.

This is what I can think of right now - hmm - hookers are all about money - yes - BUT.. safety to them is more important.. and especially with recent [few years for now?] stories of them vanished/found dead etc.. guess they have to be more cautious.

Alrighty, if a guy is standing in the middle of a bunch of hookers and is waving his money all around, they are thinking that, if he has to do that then he is desperate. I mean, usually, if you have that kind of money, you can get who ever you want, by playing it smooth.

And, I will have to agree with MS here...that the guy is acting like an ass...actually, better put, he is acting like a JACKASS.

Other than that, I am not sure I can add much more. Well, I bet I could, if I had the time to think on it....lol

I suppose nothing is never is what it seems .....or something like that


1. Ass Factor or Jackass Syndrome- Probably should have come up with that .. good call....MS and Kitty have summed that up pretty well.

2. People are Strange - You never know why a person does something ...until you ask them. Society has painted a picture of the manner of which a certain class of people are supposed to act. However, people (in this case...Hookers) have there own set standards and rules that are invisible to those outside their world.

3. Smoothless Man in Khaki pants - just wrong on some many levels that it would take years to explain.....pointless....trust me on that .....I tried...several bottles of tylenol later and still nothing

4. Money - Money has never and never will buy you anything, but a hard time. We are taught in some circles that it is the key to everything. However, if remember back a few years, people used to do things for each other without spending a dime. For some strange reason or forgotten principle ...it was the right thing to do...Hmmm..imagine that manners and morals in today's world.

Interesting...

So beware ladies of the night hold you heads up high and beware of money waving dudes in khaki pants..
