Greetings everyone,

Hot from the Oven, the new concept has been fully turned *ON* [pun intended!] and it is now attached to all stories.

Basically, a mindLick is a reflection of the value of the votes a story receives. You can check the mindLicks value of any story going to the Stories Index - the column is sortable ascending/descending as well.

One comment on this new fun item: the number of mindLicks a story has is just ONE of the ingredients of the final rating. Having the most mindLicks doesn't necessarily mean that story has the highest weighted rating amongst all others.

We believe this will make for some very moist comments and soft touches on all story subjects...

Let me try to reply to this --- see if I make more sense than Spir3d. :hammer:

We have recently introduced the mindLicks concept to all stories. What this means, simply, is that anytime you vote on a story you give it a certain number of mindLicks [virtually or literally, up to you -- depends I guess on how much you enjoy the taste of that monitor! *smile*].

If you look up the vote options, you will notice that the first one says [a quick lick] --- the second one [a few licks here and there] and the third one [tongue-fighting]. This translates into actual mindLicks and each vote adds to that number.

The voting button itself is called 'Lick the mind' to further add to this concept.

More to this point, if you go to the index of any story category, for example: http://www.mindspired.com/erotic-stories/c/28/steamy-stories/

you will notice that the last column says 'mindLicks' - and it is populated with the total value of votes that story received.

It is a new concept that we hope will add some fun to the story rating!
