Greetings mindfuls!

Time for us to host yet another event that will make history. This contest will get things so heated that the scientists will be working over time trying to figure out why the Earth's temperature has risen to a record high!

The topic of the contest is - Cozy Winter Nights! Look for the [CWN] contest tag along the site to identify it easier when the space doesn't allow for longer names.

The following guidelines must be followed for each story submitted for the contest:

1. The storyline must contain details about cozy winter nights. Winter is a long season, so set your mind free and be mindspired. You may make this a holiday piece if you wish or just write about that fire that keeps burning inside all winter long!

2. Articles MUST BE between 2,500 and 3,500 words . We are allowing a 3% overage/underage ONLY.

3. It needs to be an original story and NOT be published anywhere else online or in any magazine/book.

4. All contest entries must be submitted under the CWN (cozy winter nights)

5. A minimum of 6 entries are needed to get this contest underway and for prizes to be awarded. Get your friends involved! If we do not get six submissions, they will still be judged the same but no prizes will be awarded.

6. One entry per person.

Winners will be announced no later than December 21st, 2008.

Besides the above - prize values as well as the usual story submission and contest rules apply - you can find them in a sticky [important] post in this forum.

Of course - if you have any questions or need more details - don't hesitate to ask us!

The contest deadline is quickly approaching! Be sure to get your entries in before December 10th!

We are going to publish all the entries as they come in. Remember that we judge on story content, sexuality, originality, grammar, punctuation and overall presentation! We do not edit contest submissions at all! What you see is how they were presented for review!

We will still award a winner but in order to award prizes, we need just 6 entries. Come on mindfuls..... I know I'd like to have a 100.00 i my stocking! I'd surely give the others a run for their money if I were eligible.

Thank you mindfuls for your submissions! Those stories promise to keep me warm all winter long - great job!

Unfortunately, even with men entering a cheating submission, we didn't get enough entries to hold the contest. BUT... since it's the holiday season, let me pow wow with the guys *grabbing my rope and whip* and see if I get them to agree to some sort of prize. *blindfolding them both and grinning*

I'll let you know what we come up with!
