Lushi: Gentle Readers -- Hi, I'm a Lushi woman, very inquisitive and am interested in a wide variety of areas beyond my job (consulting) and family: history and mythology, poetry, latest business theory, liberal politics, learning photography, gardening, herbal lore, feminism, sports, trivia of all kinds -- oh, and sex!
But what may be a little different about me is that I never tried writing anything besides business reports (which are often fiction!) until about a year ago. Those attempts were centered on the one thing I enjoy the most -- sex.
Unfortunately, I am not as prolific as some writers of erotica are even though I do have lots of ideas. (There are more stories begun and abandoned on my hard drive than there are diapers in a landfill!) What I have discovered is that my best stories are ones I believe in; ones that have come to me as dreams, little slices of life turned on ear, pictures, a phrase of a poet, and best of all, first-hand knowledge of people or situations that have struck a strong chord within me. I’ll let you guess which of these things inspired what story or poem as you read mine! And as you tiptoe through my brain, hope you enjoy the hike as much as the "destination" -- read on and enjoy!
