I have had the great pleasure of spending some time with this weeks spotlight author. He is talented, funny, witty, handsome and incredibly charming. Mindspired introduces Nightwatcher as our newest spotlight author.

Lily: Do you care to share any personal information with the readers? (ie. age, location, family, pets)

Nightwatcher: Sure - no problem at all.

I am a 52 year old stay at home Dad who lives in Southern Illinois. I have three college degrees in Liberal Arts and Education. I have two great step-daughters and a lovely wife who is a few (15) years younger than I. We have two dogs, Jay-Jay and Sadie, both terriers and two cats Simone and Sasha. I enjoy writing and wood working and am currently remodeling our home.

Lily: How long have you been writing erotica?

Nightwatcher: I started writing about 6 years ago, erotica that is. I have been writing for more than 20 years with most of my papers published in the educational field of one form or another.

Lily: Do you write for your personal satisfaction, for a lover perhaps or do you have other goals in mind?

Nightwatcher: Honestly I started writing erotica out of anger. I lost my hearing about 7 years ago and started writing for two reasons. I was angry for losing hearing and the loss of my teaching position, which was the one thing I have really felt I was good at , and to just give me something to do besides looking out of the window and listening to the sounds of silence. Now I write for pleasure. I also write mainstream poetry which has also been published and I am a member of the International Poets Society. One of the first things I wrote, poetry wise, was about my hearing. It helped me to get a grasp on it and from there it was just what ever come to mind. I had been reading erotic stories on another site and decided to give it a try as a form of personal therapy.

Lily: What are you working on now and do you have a timeline for release?

Nightwatcher: I am working on a revision of the final parts of the Aimee story and am working on a longer piece which I have no idea how long it will take. I also have a couple of ideas that I am kicking about for some shorter pieces.

Lily: This article we’ve chosen to spotlight is so light and airy and has so much truth to it. I think every writer has been at minds end trying to tie a story together. What prompted you to write this story?

Nightwatcher: To be totally honest it was a lark, I had been in the chat room and the we started talking about things like hunchbacks etc. A few hours after that I sat down and wrote this story. I was kind of surprised at the way it turned out but like I said it was just written as a lark.

Lily: Do you find inspiration in the cyber world as well? I mean, you are a very handsome man that also has a natural talent for arousing the readers. Do tell, are you taken in the cyber world or are you open to NEW inspiration?

Nightwatcher: Thank you for the compliment. No not taken in the cyber world and I am always looking for inspiration. Of course I do have to say I enjoy hearing how my stories affect the readers. LOL

Lily: Do you have any advice to give to your fellow writers or those that are new to laying their fantasies/desires out for the world to see?

Nightwatcher: The best advice I can give is what was once given to me. When you first write the story, do not think about it, just let it flow. The hard part is not the writing, but cleaning it up. When you just let it flow you are opening yourself up to your audience. But like anything, the finished product is what makes it all worth while.
