Let’s welcome this month’s featured author – Illuminatus. I will tell you, not only is his mind smoking but so is his body. *breathes on my fingers* I mean… HOT! *licking my lips*

Illuminatus has really made some great contributions to the site and with 12 hot stories already posted there isn’t one reader that hasn’t caught fire! I’m quite certain! My personal favorite is Having breakfast at the diner. What you think will be the usual coworker fling, turns into some very heated cooking in the kitchen with a really nice looking, YOUNG stud! *smiles* maybe that’s why it’s my favorite. Although, *grinning wickedly* I do think of the author when I read it! Ok, before my mind wanders too far away, lets welcome… Illuminatus!


Lily: *running my finger along Illuminatus’ arm* Well…. *long pause* lets get the usual stuff out of the way, like family, hobbies, occupation. Do you care to touch base on any of those categories?

Illuminatus: Well *sighs from Lily’s touch*, I love writing all genres and it is my dream to one day have some of my work published, but I also enjoy writing music and playing guitar. I currently work for a phone company, so you can imagine where my mind is while I’m at work *grins knowingly at Lily*


Lily: Does your wife (significant other) support your writing, read it, enjoy it and perhaps give you some inspiration? *smile*

Illuminatus: While my significant other does inspire some of the stories, she hasn’t read them, nor would she would particularly like them. I showed her a short story once and she had a fit over it. She’s rather reserved about her sexuality.

Lily: Where did you get the inspiration for this particular story? I mean, *letting my finger wander over his fingers and hand* was this a past experience or was that wonderful mind of yours just working over time?


Illuminatus : Haha, Lily, your making it hard to think *grins*. This is inspired by a fling that I had while working at restaurant my last year of high school. One of the waitresses and I started fooling around for a few weeks before she wentoffto college out of state. One day wewere both closing and everyone was gone so we snuck into the kitchen and had an encounter somewhat similar to this, though some details were different. It was so memorable, that it always stuck with me so I decided to write about it


Lily: Mmmm, too bad we didn’t meet earlier in life but… better late than never. *low growl* Are you working on something new for us at the present time? If so, when can we expect to get the toys ready for the read? *grinning*

*letting my hand stroke his upper thigh*

Illuminatus: Whoa, is it getting hot in here? *pulls collar from neck and fans face* I’ve got a few stories I’m working on. I’ve been trying to get the final installment of It was Fate, but am having writer’s block on that one. I’ve got another story that is nearing completion and hope to have it posted by end of this week, beginning of next.

Lily: I sure know how writer’s block goes. Perhaps… *leaning forward* we can help each other out? *smile* Are you surprised to finally be here as the featured author or have you been wondering when your turn was coming? And do keep in mind, it isn’t awarded in the order of deserving, I just wasn’t sure I could behave myself in the same room with you! *blushing* And well, to tell the truth, I’m not so sure now either! *leaning over and kissing him on the cheek*


Illuminatus: Hahaha, actually, I’m always my biggest critic so as soon as I post something, I think it’s not very good. I think there are so many great stories and authors on here that I really don’t feel like I deserve spotlight author. It’s a wonderful surprise and I am very thankful that I was picked. And I must say Lily it is just as hard being in the same room with you. I’m having trouble controlling myself. I know this great diner nearby *grins and winks*

Lily: *huge smile – slight pause* Lets venture off your story a little bit and try to get a sense of what makes you growl… *grinning* what is the most erotic thing you have ever read and has it influenced your work?


Illuminatus: Probably the most erotic thing I’ve ever read or one of them anyway would have to be Anne Rice’s rendition of the Sleeping Beauty story. It combines many elements, sensuality, dom/sub as well as story elements and plot. It hasn’t really directly inspired me other than giving me the courage to write erotic literature.

Lily: Oh? Does that mean I might get a spanking if I’m naughty? *shifts in my seat* Now, I personally want to know what is your wildest fantasy and has it ever been close to coming true or do you think it will? And most importantly – *my finger runs in circles on his inner thigh* Is there anything I can do to help?

Iluminatus: Ahem *Clears throat*, my most wildest fantasy? Well, I have this fantasy that I walk out onto a balcony off an apartment or condo, during a New Years Eve party. As I get out on to the balcony my partner and I start to make love, uncaring whether those inside see us or not. Our love making culminates just as the ball drops and the new year arrives as we both cum, screaming our orgasms into the night air for anyone to hear. That, unfortunately has not come true yet. *Turns suddenly to Lily, grasping her hand* Is there a balcony nearby? Doesn’t have to be New Years to celebrity *winks*

Ok… How did you find Mindspired, I thank the lord every day that you did, and what else would you like to see on the site?


Illuminatus: *Stares for a minute at Lily’s unbuttoned top* Uh, I found Mindspired by random actually. I was searching for erotic literature online and found a link in Wikipedia. I followed it, read some stories and decided to join. It was about a week after that that I posted my first story here. I really can’t think of anything else I would like to see on the site. I think the site is great as it.

Lily: Thank you so much, that means a lot to us. We spend most of our free time fine tuning this site. When did you decide to start writing erotica and how did it happen? I mean, did you just pick up a pencil one day, had it been something you thought of before? Tell us what steps you took to get started!

Illuminatus: I started writing erotica when I was maybe 13 or 14, though at the time it was rather, misinformed. I stopped for a time and then when I was in the Army, I just decided one day that I wanted to write an erotic story. So I picked up a pencil and wrote. I don’t really have any steps I followed. I just kind of told myself that I would write about this subject or that and sat down and wrote. In between guard duty shifts, you have some free time.

Lily: What was the first piece you wrote and where did you first publish? I do want to make sure I’ve read everything from you! *lets my finger barely graze the center of his pants*


Illuminatus: *Gulps, unable to speak for several seconds* My first story was written a long time ago about a guy and his girlfriend having fun in a pool and it was never published. My first published piece is actually right here on Mindspired and it’s called You Saved Me.

Lily: Wow, do we feel special now! I must say that I am truly honored to have featured your very first piece. And darling… if you ever need saving, I’ll be there *wink* What was the reaction once this was published and how did that make you feel? *sweating and trying really hard not to just jump him*

Illuminatus: *scoots his chair closer to Lily and rubs her thigh gently, inching towards her inner thigh* The reaction was great. It hit 1,000 views within several days and I got great feedback and comments. It made me feel great that I could write something that others would enjoy and gave me the confidence to keep writing


Lily: Well, you certainly are a very talented writer! Do you have any advice to offer our current authors or those that are just starting out?

Illuminatus: Keep your heads up and keep writing. We are our worst critics and often the story that you personally think sucks, is actually pretty good. I always reread and rewrite every story before publishing it.

Lily: Will there be any hope of us seeing that sexy body in the mindspired calendar this year?

Illuminatus: Possibly, got to replace my broken digital camera first.

Lily: Mmm, well I do hope that is on the top of your list. I am just dying to see more of you… *grabbing a magazine and fanning myself* Are you going to be joining us in Vegas this year for our very first on line party? Although with you there, I’m not sure I’d meet one single person! LOL… but would love to share some….ideas with you – any time!


Illuminatus: I would love to attend Vegas, however work requirements will keep me away this year. Next year is looking more optimistically. Definitely, looking forward to sharing ideas with you Lily *restrains himself from walking Lily to a nearby hotel*

Lily: mmmm.. you are one fine dish. Is there anything, I mean anything else you’d like to talk about or that *stroking my finger along his zipper* I might be able to help you with?
