This next spotlight author has really taken us for a ride in so many categories. I can’t believe I haven’t gotten the opportunity to *blushes* rub elbows with this lovely lady! I must add that I do not believe for one minute that her talent is limited to arousing our minds only. What I wouldn’t do to be a fly on the wall or the next girl in her bed. *licking my lips* whoops… did I fantasize out loud again? Sorry!

She has been one busy lady and I know I’m not speaking just for myself when I say WOW! Let’s give a huge round of applause to Angiewalkerblue. *tips my hat then takes her hand and kisses the back of it*

Lily: For the very first time in Mindspired history, we can’t choose just one of your stories to feature. I find all of your work very arousing as do our members, I’m quite certain. You have a way of drawing us in, even if we don’t want to be. So, we are going to feature two of your stories back to back. Decree Absolute will be our December feature story and Faulty Handcuffs will be our January feature story. I am simply amazed at your talent. I’m not normally into the Dom/Sub category, although I’ve tried my hand at writing some, but this story, WOW! I need myself a man like that, in both cases! And it's no surprise that we've decided to add Worthy of an Oscar for our feature story in February. I think this is a record.

You have got to be one of the most intriguing ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. May I also add, very beautiful too! *touches Angie’s hand softly*

Before we get down and dirty *crosses my fingers* why don’t you tell us a little more about yourself? Are you married, children, pets, hobbies… and anything else you’d like to share.

Angie: Thank you for that introduction Lily and its me that’s blushing for the honor and privilege of meeting you and being selected for this spotlight.

About myself………….Well, I am 31 and I am married to a wonderful guy. We have a little girl, Alexa who is 15 months old, and as you can see from my bump, another on the way. She (we have been told) is due early February and we have decided on Melissa May as her name. We all live in Perth, Australia, having moved out here from the UK last year, and we are in business together. We do have some pets. We have an 8 year old Russian Blue cat called Horlicks, which we brought over from the UK, and we recently bought 2 German Shepherds pups. Trixie and Dixie are now four months old and they come from a background that has a good temperament with children.

Those who know me also know I am bisexual. Jen, my girlfriend, also recently moved out here from the UK and she is a Law Student. I also have an interest in BDSM. Perhaps you could call it a hobby! Earlier this year I met a guy (we are just friends!) who also recently moved to Perth. He is very experienced in BDSM and has his own dungeon etc. He allows me to share this and I have had some fun times there but I am taking an enforced sabbatical at the moment.

Lily: Wow, I am even more impressed with you than I was before. May I? *places my hand on Angie’s tummy to feel the baby* I must say, I have never had this attraction to a pregnant lady before. *fanning myself*

You are an extremely talented writer. Does your husband support your passion for writing?

Angie: Thank you for that compliment, but I don’t really see myself as a ‘talented’ writer. I am still a novice and I see far more talented writers here at Mindspired and at a couple of other sites of which I am a member of.

As for my Hubby…..no, he knows little about this side of my life. He knows about Jen, in fact she lived with us for a while here, but as for my writing and BDSM activities….he is definitely in the dark. I do intend sharing my writing with him sometime but as far as my BDSM activities are concerned…….I think the sight of me in my leather gear holding a riding crop would send him into cardiac arrest!

Lily: LOL… I do know what you mean there - my hubby would flip just hearing my thoughts let alone my actions! That's too bad, I hope some day he comes around - if that's what you want. When did you get interested in writing erotica and what inspired you to do so?

Angie: I got interested in erotica in 2006. I found a site on the internet that specialized in erotic literature and I found I loved the stories. It gave me the urge to put some of my own fantasies down on paper and so I started to write a few stories of my own. I was never very happy with them so I left them unfinished.

Lily: What was the first piece you wrote and when did you write it?

Can you also tell us what inspired you to write that story?

Angie: In 2007 I met Jen and I had my first sexual experience with a woman. I felt that I had to diary the event and so I put it into a story ‘My First Time’.

Lily: What a lucky lady she is. *sits daydreaming for a few seconds* What was the response of the readers on your first story and how did this effect your decision to continue?

Angie: I got a very good response from others and this was very encouraging. So much so, that I picked up my pen again and went back to some of the other stories that I had started. I published a few more and the encouraging responses gave me more and more confidence.

Lily: Well, the readers don’t lie – they do know what turns them on and guess what? It’s YOU! As for the spotlight stories, we have two similar articles here but two different categories. Both have their men in a very dominant role, one more so than the other, of course. I am sure I speak for many when I ask, is Dom/Sub something you practice and if so, what role do you take? Please feel free to elaborate on anything your heart desires. *smiling – hoping*

Angie: As I mentioned earlier I do practice BDSM. I am Dom but I started out as Sub actually. I met a girl on another site in 2006 and we got chatting and she started me off cybering, something I had never done before! As we got more into it the roles started to reverse and I ended up being her cyber Mistress. She helped bring something out of me that I never knew was there.

Anyway, when we moved out here we found a local firm of Real Estate Agents to help us find a home and a girl was assigned to us to help us in our quest. One day she showed us around one house that had a disused basement and I commented jokingly that it would make a lovely dungeon! I saw from her reaction that she was interested and later we had a quiet chat and she told me that she had been a Sub to another girl. She became my first real life Sub but unfortunately she moved away later.

Later I joined a site that specialized in BDSM and through it I met the guy I now share a dungeon with.

Lily: These stories are so vivid and seem so real, I can’t help but wonder how much truth there is to them. Would you care to clear some inquiring minds? Fact or fiction? *grinning at Angie and resting my hand on her knee*

Angie: They are both fiction but the story of the ‘Faulty Handcuffs’ stemmed from a newspaper article I read a while back about a real life incident where a couple had got tangled up with faulty handcuffs and had to call out the police to free them. I just used my filthy imagination to make it a more interesting story!

Lily: I must say that the whole dom/sub idea is not something I’ve really thought of but you’ve made my body ache for a bit of firm pleasure. Your talent is remarkable and I know some of the other readers have been drawn to dom/sub just from reading your work. Would you mind sharing with us your biggest fantasy?

Angie: Hmmmm…my biggest fantasy? I don’t think I have written it yet….maybe it might be too ‘strong’ for you all. But one fantasy that did become reality was when I had my first male as my Sub. That was really something……having a naked male, adoringly at your feet was…….well! It actually started out very scary for me because he was a big, powerful guy and he could have overwhelmed me very easily but he turned out to be a pussycat!

I suppose I have always enjoyed teasing guys and like many other women, have used my feminine wiles to get what I wanted without taking things too far, but when you have a male naked and restrained, the teasing takes on a new dimension. Making him do things to please you and you alone is something very exhilarating………!

I have actually started to put pen to paper on that one so maybe I will get it finished one day….or maybe I need to experience it to again a few more times to get things more clear in my mind!

Lily: Well, I can think of a couple of men that I would love to have at my feet, kissing them - then restrain them and….. oh… I better not get too carried away.

I would sure love to show you my newest fantasy *smiles wide and shifts in my chair* Do you have anything brewing at that moment, if so, when can we expect to see it and what category will we find it in?

Angie: I have lots of things brewing at the moment Lily………….maybe we should move somewhere more private and you can show me your fantasy!

Seriously, I have about a dozen stories on the go at the moment. I start stories and pick them back up later. As most working mums know, life is very busy and when you do get free time you are not always in the mood to sit down and write erotica.

I have a few follow up stories on the go, one of which is a follow up to ‘Faulty Handcuffs’ for instance. You know how unscrupulous some male police officers can be with a vulnerable female, especially when they work in pairs. I think Megan will be feeling the full force of the law next time!

Lily: *gasp* Lucky woman. I can’t wait…. Wow, I’m going to be thinking about that until it comes out, well and then a long time after I’m sure! You know it’s a well deserved award but were you surprised to be invited into the author of the month spot?

Angie: Very surprised. As I mentioned before I am just a novice and as much as I enjoy writing I know I have a lot to learn.

Lily: I have spent a great deal of thought on your work and even purchased a pair of handcuffs, *smiles and rubs small circles up her thigh* if you’re interested, that I just couldn’t let you slip through the cracks. I have been waiting for November to get over so I could get to know you a little better and I sue hope it doesn’t stop at this interview! *licking my lips*

*clears my throat* Can you offer some advice to up and coming writers? Perhaps in areas of confidence, over coming obstacles or just getting started.


Angie: Perhaps you should come over to Perth with those handcuffs Lily. I am sure my friend has a room for you and I think I have a paddle with your name on it somewhere…………

I would just say to any aspiring writers….just put pen to paper and go for it. I am sure everyone has a story to tell and as for fantasies…….we all have them so why not share?

I would also say to readers to give encouragement. A pat on the back works wonders for the confidence and you never know, you might find yourself reading something to try out with your partner next time!

Lily: *circling my fingers higher on her thigh* Well... I think that about wraps things up. If I were to say that Angiewalkerblue's selection as author of the month genuinely moves me, I would be a master of understatement.
I love her writing and writing style perhaps more than she does. It can be very erotic and exciting for me to read even though I have known her longer than I have known anyone else at the site. You would think that nothing she writes should catch me by surprise as a result yet contrarily that is the catch with Angie: she always surprises me. Everything she does always has the aura of "fresh and new." I have never known another woman who has been as brave as she is in virtually everything she does, let alone in writing erotic stories. She is a true trail-blazer, and women are still not seen in that way as much as they should yet. She breaks down barriers as if she were just born to do it, I am not so sure she always knows her own strength...or should I say, importance to others. I don't mean she isn't smart enough to, as intellectually, she is brilliant!
Just think of this: with a new child, a business already in place, she moves to Australia, starts a new business, hand picks all her people, and so on......she is nothing less than remarkable!
