Writing a mystery story

Hey Greedy! I would love to do a group story but... that has never worked so much in the past. Problem is ... in this case only.. that everyone has their own writing style. And while some of us wish to extend the introduction the rest are trying to be the first to rush into the sex scenes.

That would be okay if we could get a group of like minds together!

Yes, there needs to be some sex or REALLY heated teasing... but think kinda like Nora Roberts. That woman can write! If you've not read any of her books, do try one. I can suggest a few if you're interested.

Otherwise I would suggest we all give it a go on our own!

I have some decent ideas.. just need time to jot them down!

I think the group story thing could work until everyone gets a feel on what you are trying to accomplish. Then possibly branch into other things.

Personally, I enjoy mysteries and crime stories. So you set up a place I believe I might have something laying around that could get us started. I just need to clean up the grammar a little and its ready.

So let me know when everyone is ready.

I'm with you Lily... this won't work as a group story.

To write a story like this, you really need to have some idea of the twists and turns that you're working up to, before you can really begin it, so it just doesn't seem possible.

I'll see if I can come up with a little idea of my own... if I can ever get 10 minutes to myself.

Ok... so if Lily is involved in this story, do I still get to edit it? Either way, hurry up people we need some new stories. Could you include me as a character? Of course I want to be the dominant one. Although, cringing, it could be a nice twist to take the opposite role.

I really like the idea of group writing. I"ve participated on here on another group story and enjoyed it. I do agree that the subject of sex, while very important, is something to be built around rather than built on. Although I am a fairly new writer I would enjoy having a subject or story line to try and see where the character will take me. Count me in. xxx
