| Inspired Author | In the world of novels, many titles are actually the product of the publisher rather than the author. Tht titles are chosen based for the ability to cause a potential customer to pick up the book, read the introduction, and then purchase it They're much like the "hook line" used by song writers. Since most writers who post here have no such resource, we title our own work. I'm interested in how you fit a title to your story. Usually I pick a title that relates to the main plot or theme of the story, and sometime something just seem to fit. So: How do you pick your titles? Do you write the story and then pick the title, or the reverse? What titles cause you to read a story rather than pass it by?

When I saw "Envy" By Sandra Brown I had to buy it I just finish one of her other books(I love her writing style) ... So when I saw the title being one of the deadly sins it peek my curoisty... It had a Fabulous twist at the end
